Top Cruelty-Free Make-Up Brushes

19 Jan 2017

I have quite an extensive range of make-up brushes but they're not something I've really talked about here on the blog so I thought I'd share a few of my favourite cruelty-free/vegan brushes I use on a regular basis.
Top Cruelty Free & Vegan Makeup Brushes
Real Techniques brushes are one of the main brands that I have in my collection. I use the Expert Face Brush daily with my Sappho foundation as I find it blends and buffs the product perfectly, whilst offering speedy application. I also love the Eyeliner brush as it's the perfect size for applying liner and the shape makes those flicks easier to achieve.

I have the entire range of Bathing Beauty brushes and I use almost all of them frequently but my favourites have to be the Concealer brush, Blush brush and the Eyebrow tool. The range is completely vegan and created by George, founder of Bathing Beauty in collaboration with make-up artist Caroline James. I love using the concealer brush with RMS Un Cover Up as it applies the perfect amount of product. The eyeshadow brush is also a fave as it's quite large so it's ideal for applying a base colour to your lids or if I'm just doing one colour all over my lids then I'll use this and another brush to blend the edges. (These are currently on sale at Naturisimo for £50)

I find that the EcoTools Eyeliner Brush is perfect paired with the 100% Pure Eyebrow Gel that I absolutely love. It's just the right size for filling in my brows. I buy the Real Techniques and EcoTools brushes from iHerb which is an American site however they're quite a lot cheaper than buying them in the UK (RT Expert Face Brush is £6.27 compared to £9.99 at Boots).
