Organic September Day 19: Organic Beauty Week Pai Skincare

19 Sep 2015

Last year I wasn't planning on spending much when it came round to Black Friday, however Pai Skincare had an amazing deal that I just couldn't stop thinking about and had to purchase! If you bought a Starter Set (full size Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser) you got a free bunch of products worth about £90...how amazing was that?! I'll be keeping an eye out this year for another deal I think...

Pai Skincare are the experts in sensitive skin. Not only are their products some of the most natural on the market, they're Soil Association certified organic too and perfect if you've ever had a reaction to mainstream skincare, or just have dry or sensitive skin. Although I don't have dry or sensitive skin, their products are suitable for other skin types too.

Now that I've tried almost all of the products, I'm going to share my thoughts on a few...

Zinc & Copaiba Blemish Serum
I was going to do a review on this serum, however by the time I went to do the review I had run out! I just used it every now and then when I got a few blemishes and then I thought I'd start using it everyday to see if I could see a difference..and I did! I used it for 2-3 months every single day and my hormonal spots were almost non-existent which is amazing for me. I was a bit surprised when it ran out as there wasn't any indication I was near the bottom and I haven't bought another one since, purely because my skin was really good for a while after however it's started to play up a little bit again so I may have to buy another...although at £42 for a 30ml tube, I may have to save up a bit first!

Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator
I only opened this recently and the packaging has changed which I think is great as it's quite hard to squeeze this product out of the tub I have it in. It's a bit of an unusual exfoliator as it's base is a clear gel, filled with tiny jojoba beads that gently exfoliate skin. When you're done exfoliating, simply wipe some water over your face and it emulsifies into a milky substance which makes it easy to remove. It leaves my skin feeling very soft, smooth and definitely brighter.

Rose Plant & Rosemary BioAffinity Toner
This is one I've only just recently opened too, so I haven't used it that much. This toner is alcohol-free, even natural grain varieties that can sensitise reactive skin and strip its natural oils. It is made using pure living waters, extracted directly from the plant itself. I have a cleanser that uses rice bran and my skin loves that. I haven't noticed anything really sort of skin-changing with this toner however I tend to switch up my toners quite a bit. It is very refreshing though and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight at all.

Echium & Argan Gentle Eye Serum
I actually had one of these from somewhere, I think I did a swap with somebody so I still have the one that I got in the deal unopened in the box...and I think I'll be passing it onto someone else. It is very gentle, and would be perfect if you have sensitive skin around the eyes however for me, my biggest concern is dark circles, so I would prefer to look for an eye cream that would be more suited for that issue. It's not that this isn't a lovely product, it is nice, gentle and lightweight, it just perhaps isn't the right product for me.

So overall with Pai, it's pretty much 50/50! I love a couple of products and some just aren't for me but I am really impressed with those that I do like so I'd definitely recommend trying something from Pai.

You can buy Pai Skincare on Onlynaturals with 10% discount until 22nd September for Organic Beauty Week using code "ORGANIC10". This can be used on any Soil Association certified organic products too!

What is your favourite product from Pai?
