Lorna Jane Active Move Nourish Believe 2015 Diary

1 Jan 2015

Last year I bought myself the 2014 Lorna Jane Active Diary and whilst it's been a big neglected the last few months, I really enjoyed using it. This year, I had asked for it as a Christmas present but the text asking for the present must have got lost in technological space as I didn't receive it. Luckily, they were still available on the Australian site and I received the diary within 4 days! My 2014 diary post is one of my most popular posts (see sidebar!) so I thought I'd share a few thoughts and photos about this year's as there have been a few changes.
The first noticeable difference is the book design itself. I much prefer this year's as it'll be easier to carry in my handbag. It's hardback classic design is much better than last year's ring-binder spine and it's a gorgeous pale blue shade with gold metallic writing. The layout inside is quite different too but I like this year's better as well. It has a yearly snapshot at the beginning as well as a calender for the start of each month, making it easy to keep track of your plans and use as a daily diary, as well as fitness.
The main part of the diary consists of a week per double page which makes it easy to keep track of your plans & workouts. There is plenty of room per day to write down your plans, appointments, workouts, what you eat & maybe even use it as a personal journal as well. At the end of each week there's a small section for "Next Week" so you can write down any future plans so you don't forget. Or a little memo or goal to keep you motivated!
As always, Lorna Jane adds in motivational pages all throughout the 214-page book including workouts, recipes and monthly challenges for example "Mindfulness in May" which helps to keep you determined and motivated.
I love this diary and can't wait to start using it! Hopefully I won't neglect this one as much as last year's for the last few months of this year. So if you're still looking for a 2015 diary, head on over to LJA here. I had to pay £14 in customs so watch out for that too if buying from the UK. You can get Lorna Jane clothing from Active in Style in the UK but the diary is out of stock now.

I will also be doing a post on the Daily Greatness 12 Week Journal shortly so keep an eye out for that if you're unsure which to get!

What do you use to keep track of your fitness? Is your NY resolution to get fit?

  6. I love the concept of this diary with the motivational inspirations and pretty illustrations and design. I've already bought myself a Leuchtturm diary for 2015, but perhaps I'll look into getting this one the year after! :) xxx

  8. I like the look of hardcover journals but I really prefer spiral-bound coz I can't stand getting creases in the binding! #OCD Anyway it looks like a great journal, so much space to write, you can use it more than just for fitness, no? xo
