Trilogy Refresh & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner | Beauty Review

23 Nov 2014

Trilogy are a pretty well-known brand in the green beauty world but not one I had ever tried before. I picked up their Refresh & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner* from My Pure this month and have really been enjoying using them.

The Refresh & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner claim to be "everyday care for all hair types."

The Shampoo has antioxidant and protein rich Keracyn from artichoke which protects by coating the hair shaft with a restorative botanical shield, Calendula which brightens whilst rinsing away excess oil and product built up and Marshmallow which adds shine. Rosehip conditions hair while the last key ingredient Chamomile soothes for a healthy scalp and manageable hair.

This shampoo has saved my hair recently. I've really been struggling with natural shampoo and if you watch some of my more recent videos, you'll see my hair looks like a big greaseball when in fact I had probably only washed it the day before. I do a double shampoo with this and my hair feels soft, more voluminous and more shiny. I can go up to three days between washes which is awesome as I don't like to wash my hair too often. It definitely helps to "refresh" my hair and add shine. I do still get a few fly-aways but nothing that a little bit of argan oil can't sort out.

The conditioner is also really nice but I don't use it every time I wash my hair purely for personal preference as my hair just doesn't really need it and it tends to cut down washes to every two days. When I do use this, I just put a little bit on the ends to help with split ends and frizziness and it does a really great job. My sisters also stole this from my bathroom and they have all been really liking it.

Overall I am really impressed with these two. I probably wouldn't buy the conditioner again purely because I don't always need to use a conditioner but I would definitely buy the shampoo - it's one of the best natural ones I've tried!

They come in pretty pricey at £12.50 each but for me, the shampoo is well worth that. The packaging is really sturdy and sleek looking too and I like how you push the lid open so you avoid spillages.

You can get them here from My Pure.
