Bee Good 3-in-1 Cleansing Water

13 Aug 2014

You should all know by now that I love bees and anything to do with helping to save the bees. I love companies that make products using British honey & beeswax as it is helping to reduce the decline of bees in the UK as well as around the world!

Bee Good have been on my radar for quite a while as they have made quite an impression on the blogger community with their cleanser, hand cream and the cleansing water that I'm going to review. Bee Good are a husband & wife duo business who started their company in 2008 after Caroline wanted to get into making skincare and Simon was an experienced beekeeper so they put their knowledge together and Bee Good was born!

Bee Good Honey & Wild Water Mint 3-in-1 Cleansing Water* is exactly what it says on the bottle. A water that helps to cleanse, tone and remove make-up. It is full of British honey, wild water mint, propolis and red algae. It does contain PEGs which I'm not thrilled about however I have only been using this to remove my make-up and I don't use it everyday so for me, I can look past that for the sake of one product as they are helping the bees and I haven't had a bad reaction to it or anything.

As I said, I've been using this to remove my make-up as a sort of "first cleanse". Its refreshing, it smells really good and does a great job of taking off my make-up. It says it's a cleanser & a toner as well however I much prefer to use an oil or balm cleanser than popping water onto a cotton pad so I haven't used it for that and I already have three toners open at the minute which I'm trying to use up haha!

It's been a really refreshing product to use, especially in this heat we're having in the UK and if I'm feeling lazy or too hot & bothered to do a double cleanse like I do every night, I've been using this as my first cleanse & then going in with a balm/oil cleanser as my second cleanse and my face is left clean and make-up and dirt free. Personally I wouldn't buy it again as the ingredients aren't quite on par with what I would have liked, (I should have checked beforehand, sorry!) but it's still a lovely product to use & if you aren't hot on ingredients like me, you'll love it! My sister actually has been using this a lot more than me and she loves it and asked me to get her another bottle so she's definitely convinced that it's good!

One of the great things about this brand is that the tag that comes with the product has wild flower seeds in it so if you plant it, flowers will grow & the bees will love it!

You can buy it here from Bee Good. Follow them on Twitter @BeeGood_UK too!

  1. Such a shame about the ingredients! I'm not sure I like the 3-in1 idea either, cleansing and toning are different things in my book so I don't know how that could work! At least you've been able to pass it on to your sister :D xx

    1. Yep such a shame! I was willing to look past it for one product though but I was hoping they were greener which is why I (stupidly!) didn't check ingredients. My sister is loving it though!

  2. I know the ingredients aren't quite as clean as I would like, but I really like this for taking off eye make up. I like the brands overall ethos, so am happy to use x

    1. Me too! It takes it off so easily and works really well for me as I wear contacts so I don't really like rubbing my eyes with balm cleansers :) x
