In My Backyard

20 May 2014

I have seen a lot of these posts going round and I've just found them so interesting, finding out where different companies are based and knowing that some are right on our doorstep is amazing so I decided to do my own post on the few companies that are near me!

Viridian - I actually found out that Viridian were based in Northamptonshire as Mia was kindly sent some samples of their products for the Northampton Blogger Meet. I have a sample of their Coconut Oil & some supplements which I haven't tried yet but I have tried and loved their Clear Skin Complex. I don't take it everyday as my skin is generally clear now but I have some spare for when I'm having a bad skin day and they help to clear up any blemishes!

Beefayre - I visited the guys at Beefayre HQ last week as they are based just 10 minutes away from where I work in Market Harborough. They sell gorgeous gifts like candles, honey, skincare products, cards & homeware items that are decorated with the most gorgeous designs! You can read all about my trip to Beefayre HQ here.

Botanical Brands - This one isn't actually a "brand" as such but the lovely ladies of Botanical Brands who supply websites such as My Pure with lovely products from Living Nature, Pulpe de Vie & Natural Being are based right around the corner from my shop! I was lucky enough to visit their office & I was like a kid in a candy shop with all of their beauty products stacked up shelves upon shelves...it was incredible!

Hope Street - I haven't tried any products from this company, I actually googled "Natural Skincare Northampton" to see if there are any I had missed off from my list or new ones that I didn't know about. I do remember seeing this company at a Craft Fair whilst I was a Neal's Yard Consultant but as I was only just starting out with natural/organic skincare I didn't really know much about other brands or natural skincare as a whole so I didn't approach the lady but I wish I did now! Hope Street are based literally about 10 minutes down the road from me and their products sound lovely so I'll definitely be checking them out!

*NEW ADDITION* - The Earth Works Cosmetics - I only just discovered this brand thanks to Sandra on Twitter and I'm glad I did as they're based in Northants and their products look lovely! I like the sounds of their Regenerating Face Balm and Coconut & Lime Body Butter!

I hope you enjoyed reading about the brands in my "backyard". I'm really enjoying reading everybody else's posts so if you have written one, please leave me your link in the comments!

Amber
