Nourish Skincare Review

14 Dec 2013

I was looking for Christmas presents for my boyfriend the other day on Big Green Smile and came across a couple of offers! I won't say what I bought him because he sometimes is sneaky and reads my blog (Hi Paul!) but I got myself a new Nourish Cleanser as they had an offer on where if you bought any Nourish skincare product you got their Cooling Toning Mist absolutely free! I love cleansers so I thought I would try the Purifying Cleanser which was a bargain price at £9.95 and the Toning Mist is priced at £8.95.
Nourish Skincare Review
Their Radiance Purifying Cleanser is described as a blend of soft emollients and foxberry to help brighten the skin to help maintain a healthy and youthful glow. It is aimed at people with normal skin. Now that I'm writing this I think I should have actually gone for the Detoxifying one as I have oily, blemish prone skin. DUH! Oh well....it's still okay for my skin!

It has a lovely rose scent to it and feels really soothing on my skin. I use it with a cotton pad and wipe it over my face to get rid of any make-up and dirt. I then just use a wet flannel or muslin cloth with cold water to clean it off my face. I have mainly been using this to remove my make-up and it does a great job. If I were to use it as a cleanser so I would probably use my fingers to wipe it over my face as I'd feel that I was getting a deeper cleanse than with a cotton pad. I'm not sure how much difference this has made to my skin; I wouldn't say it was more radiant and I think my skin would be more suited to the detoxifying one as I said earlier so I'll probably try that next as a cleanser and just keep using this to remove my make-up! My skin does feel quite tight afterwards but follow it up with the Protect Cooling Toning Mist and my skin feels super clean and soft! The toning mist has a gorgeous orange and lemon scent to it and is so refreshing! This would be ideal in summer or when you're having a bad day at work, or even in the Christmas shopping crowds when you just need to take a minute and CHILL!

I got the Protect Soothing Hand Cream with my Souk Souk beauty box a few months ago and have been using it here and there. I keep this one in my bathroom as its quite a hefty bottle to carry around in my handbag but it's great for in the mornings or just before I go to bed at night. It's a lovely citrus scent like the toning mist, is very lightweight and it sinks into my skin so quickly. The pump is quite tough though and it squirts everywhere! Does anybody else get this or is it just mine?! (Similar - Kale Hand Cream)

Overall I am impressed with my Nourish skincare products and would love to try some more of their products in the future. They have all sorts of ranges for different skin types and I think they are so reasonably priced and are great place to start for anybody trying to make their way onto greener, more natural beauty products.

You can buy Nourish at Big Green Smile.

Since writing this post I have also tried the Nourish Kale Exfoliator, Golden Glow Toning Body Lotion, Kale Eye Cream and Argan Skin Renew Collection.

Have you tried Nourish? What did you think?
