NAISTURE Collagen Face Mask

19 Nov 2013

I received one of these ages ago when I placed an order online with A Beautiful World then I got another one with my Winter Sampler Box. I wanted to treat my skin so I decided to try one out.

ARGHHHH SCARY!
The mask is drenched in a serum that is full of active ingredients such as vegetable collagen derived from carrots, hyaluronic acid, shea butter and Raffinose which helps promote smoother, silkiers and more radiant-looking skin.

When I opened the packet I was quite surprised at how slimy the face mask was. There was product in the packet after I took the face mask out and it was drenched. However, I really like this because it meant that it stuck to my face! I sat watching Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life, laughing my head off and it didn't fall of my face once! As you can see it looks preeeetty scary but I thought it would be funny to share a picture with you lovely lot! It was the first time using a sheet mask so it was quite a strange experience for me and I didn't really know what to expect but I was impressed with the results after.

I kept it on for about 20-30 minutes as I was so engrossed with Karl Pilkington I didn't realise the time. The mask didn't feel uncomfortable or start going dry which was great as I hate it when face masks start to crumble and feel tight. This mask stayed moist and was really soothing and calming on my skin. I took it off and used what was left of the serum in the packet to moisturise my face. I loved that I could just take it off and moisturise with the product inside as it meant no mess, quick application and less products - bonus! My skin feels soft and looks dewy. I can imagine that using these a couple of times a week will really help my skin, especially with my redness and occasional dry patches! My skin looked dewy and radiant this morning after using it last night and it wasn't dry at all so I can safely say the serum worked great with my skin!

I have another one left and I have the Best of ABW Box as a Christmas present which I know is already at my Dads house all wrapped up (I bought it quickly myself as I knew it would sell out) so I'm looking forward to trying more of these!

You can buy them from A Beautiful World £10 for 5 here.

Have you tried these? What did you think?

  2. I have had a couple of these and really liked using them. You are right, they are super slimy but the sheet stayed put and didn't slip off. I'm not sure if I would buy a pack but they have been great for 'special occasions'! x
