My Favourite Five | Body Creams

9 Oct 2013

Now that the nights are getting darker and the weather colder, I thought I would write a post about my five favourite body creams! I often forget about using moisturisers but I'm being stricter on myself and have been trying out some lovely creams that I actually enjoy using so it's been easier!

1. Weleda Skin Food

This is a thick cream that is specifically for rough/dry skin. After shaving/using my epilator I often get red bumps on my skin and this cream helps them to disappear after just one or two days and my skins looks and feels so much smoother! I also use this sometimes as a face moisturiser if my skin needs a bit of a pick-me-up. I ran out of this in Barcelona so I need to buy some more before my holiday to Colorado!

2. MU London White Chocolate Elbow, Knee & Heel Cream

This cream is for those parts of the body that are often neglected when it comes to moisturising. It is absolutely to die for and smells divine. I simply rub a bit onto my heels at night and wear a pair of socks to lock in the moisture. The next morning my skin feels super smooth and moisturised.

3. Neal's Yard Remedies Garden Mint & Bergamot Body Butter

This body butter is so luxurious and smells lush. The scent stays on my skin for hours and hours and my skin feels so smooth. You can't actually buy it yet as it is exclusive for when you host an NYR party but I think it's going to be available soon or you could try the Beauty Sleep or Aromatic version!

4. John Masters Organics Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Milk

This is one of my favourite scented body creams and isn't as thick as the others so I like to use this if I'm quickly heading out somewhere and need to put clothes on straight after! It isn't sticky and smells lovely - like a milky vanilla with a hint of orange! You could try a free sample of this when you buy from websites like Lucy Rose!

5. Neal's Yard Remedies Rose Body Elixir

This product smells just like Turkish Delight. It's sort of like a jelly rather than a cream or lotion and it's quite strange but it's so moisturising and smells just delicious. The scent stays on for hours just like my other Neal's Yard cream and it super moisturising so will be perfect for Winter time!

What are your favourite body creams? Have you tried any of these?
